Forever young...in memory of our classmates who have passed away. Let us not dwell on the circumstances of their passing ....... but celebrate how they have touched our lives.

Braxton Shelby
Name: jeff swanson Comments: Committee, I have a rerquest that I hope you will consider. I grew up in Tyler, Dixie, Stuart, JT. I have a friend named Braxton Shelby. Braxton did not get the chance to graduate with us, his life was taken in the second grade with a fatal illness. I am now 38yrs old and still think of my friend everyday and miss him greatly. I have no doubt that if given the chance, Braxton would have been a friend to you all as well, and would also be a mighty lion class of 87'. I am attempting to get an honorary diploma made and if possible an extra t-shirt ordered for the reunion. I will be happy to pay for it, If not I will give her mine. I will present these items to Braxtons mom during the reunion weekend. My request is that he be posted under "in memory of" I know he may not have physically been in school with us, but he walked those halls everyday with me. Thank you for your consideration.
Name: Rodney Miller Comments: Fellow committee members, as I sit her with tears literally swelling in my eyes, I too remember my friend Braxton. I remember picking him up on the bus, he was always the last stop before we made it to the school.(Dixie) As you know the bus driver always make the younger kids sit together and fate would have it that we had to sit together. Until one day he didn’t get on the bus, and I later found out that He had passed away. To this very day when I pass by his house on the way to visit my rearing place, I always and I do mean always think about Braxton. I give my vote twice for this, please pass this request unaminously!
